An IT Infrastructure & Security Manager is required to join a market-leading hospitality company with multiple sites across the UK. To be a key part of shaping the future of the business, ensuring continuous investments in security, stability, and scalable technologies. We are looking for a passionate IT Infrastructure Manager/Lead to strategically lead a small dynamic team in developing, optimising, and securing technology solutions across all sites within the business. Ensuring high standards of performance, customer service, and security by overseeing infrastructure architecture, managing internal and external stakeholders, maintaining service levels, and driving continuous improvement, focusing on IT and Cybersecurity best practices.

The Role
As an Infrastructure & Security Manager, you will be responsible for optimising the IT Infrastructure and security architecture across all sites, with a focus on end-user computing and Microsoft 365 technology stack. Driving IT customer service and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring a ‘security-by-design' approach to maintaining hardware, software, and network security measures. You will be leading the internal infrastructure team, managing external third-party suppliers, and maintaining documented technical support procedures for key IT systems.

Some of what you will be doing:
  • Strategically developing, optimising, and supporting IT infrastructure and security architecture
  • Leading the internal infrastructure team, providing guidance, coaching, and management
  • Collaborating with stakeholders including project teams, service desk, operations teams, and external partners
  • Managing key external infrastructure 3rd parties and suppliers, ensuring performance and service levels
  • Implementing a ‘security-by-design' approach to maintain hardware, software, and network security measures
  • Ensuring IT infrastructure stability, uptime, and performance, meeting agreed KPIs
  • Managing Opex and Capex budgets for defined infrastructure services and solutions
  • Prioritising and managing multiple streams of work, both independently and as part of a team

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
  • Excellent team and line management, able to lead dynamic and delivery-focused teams
  • Strong technical knowledge across IT Infrastructure technologies including WAN/LAN/WLAN, cloud services (Azure/AWS), domain services, servers, endpoint management, and endpoint protection
  • Microsoft 365 technology stack, including Apps and Collaboration tools
  • Supplier management, including account, performance, and service management
  • IT and Cybersecurity principles, processes, and compliance standards - ISO27001/Cyber Essentials+/CISSP

They deliver Race Electronics Services to renowned events like Mexico, Miami, and Las Vegas Grand Prix, providing essential temporary installations including track cameras, marshal intercom, radio communications, video wall, RF distribution, and audio distribution, supplying network services such as WIFI, 4G/5G, and satellite connectivity, ensuring seamless internet access for EPOS systems with redundant network services.

The Role
As a Network Engineer, you will be required to travel to multiple destinations around the world including Mexico City, Miami, Las Vegas, Candana and various locations across the UK including London and the Northwest. This is a hands-on position where you will get involved in the design, build, support and installation of various solutions handling administration and servicing of the equipment in the warehouse for testing, pre-staging and more.

  • Working with main manufacturers like Cisco, HP, Dell, Fortinet, Aruba, and Meru hardware
  • Working with Windows operating systems, Windows 10, Server 2012,2019 etc.
  • Working with WIFI Platforms and Firewall products
  • Installing and de-installing track cameras, marshal intercoms, radio communications, video wall, RF distribution and audio distribution
  • Supporting the directors with builds, support and installations of various temporary installations
  • Travelling to Mexico, Miami, Las Vegas, and Canada - being hands-on and involved in managing complex IT Infrastructure on race sites
  • Interface with contractors, occasionally leading outside contractors for system installations
  • Supporting solution Infrastructure to meet business objectives, troubleshooting and resolving faults

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
  • Strong knowledge of working with main manufacturers, Cisco, HP, Dell, Fortinet, Aruba, Meru Hardware
  • CCNA and equivalent certificates (CCNP)
  • Windows operating systems, Windows 10, Server 2012, 2019 etc.
