The Role:
A highly respected professional body is urgently seeking an experienced Recovery Project Manager to lead the turnaround of a high-profile, delayed, and over-budget case management system implementation.

This is a critical assignment with board-level visibility, requiring a steady hand, expert stakeholder management, and proven project recovery expertise.

The Project:
Implementation of a specialist case management platform to manage complaints and tribunal processes. The project has faced challenges and requires an immediate recovery plan.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recovery and successful delivery of the case management system implementation
  • Re-establish clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables amidst ambiguity
  • Build trust and confidence with internal SMEs, super users, and external suppliers
  • Provide expert stakeholder management, particularly at executive and board levels
  • Drive risk management, recovery planning, and transparent communication
  • Assess the need for additional resources, such as Business Analysts, and coordinate accordingly

Skills/Experience required:
  • Proven track record as a Project Recovery/Turnaround Manager, ideally parachuted into troubled projects.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate knowledgeable yet fatigued teams
  • Strong third-party supplier management experience
  • Comfortable working with incomplete documentation and evolving requirements
  • Case management system experience highly desirable (legal sector experience a bonus but not essential)
  • Skilled in risk management, recovery planning, and executive-level reporting
  • Collaborative, trusted professional—guides and listens rather than commands
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities in high-pressure, ambiguous environments
  • Immediate availability or very short notice

  • Maintain and enhance the current platform built in PHP and Golang

I'm looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a transformative Customer Experience programme — a high-impact, forward-thinking initiative that will transform how people interact with public services across government.

This is an exciting opportunity, helping to deliver simpler, clearer and faster digital services using cutting-edge AI capabilities. You'll work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs, influence change, and guide services through agile delivery and government standards.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across government departments.
  • Identify suitable departments for collaboration and assess how digital product changes impact their operations.
  • Educate and inspire stakeholders with compelling insights into the programme's value and outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and one-to-one sessions to gather insights and shape next steps.
  • Provide expert assessments of service delivery maturity and recommend pathways for improvement.
  • Support departmental teams to implement agreed ways of working.
  • Act as an ambassador for digital transformation.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, leading stakeholder engagement and influencing senior stakeholders outside of your own function.
  • ​​​​​​​Previous commercial experience within an AI project is essential.
  • Strong understanding of agile digital service delivery, including service design and the cultural change it requires.
  • Self-starter with the ability to initiate and deliver work independently.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present clear, credible narratives to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in rapidly gaining subject matter expertise using a variety of investigative methods.
  • Previous Government experience is highly advantageous.
