The RoleR.A.D® are looking for an Email Marketing & CRM Manager to join our digital team, working with the Head of Digital to define and deliver R.A.D®'s email marketing strategy. This role will be involved in digital marketing operations, specifically CRM and Email and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to own the daily management and development of our ESP, contributing to the shaping of R.A.D®'s digital future.
What you'll be doing...
Strategy and Campaign Development: Own the email marketing calendar, working with eCommerce and Marketing functions to deliver relevant, commercially impactful campaigns and automations. Owning the full end-to-end campaign process across planning, building, testing, and execution.
Storytelling: Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Creative teams, creating campaigns that contain compelling email content, subject lines, and visuals. Helping R.A.D® define how it talks to its audiences in both a trade and editorial context.
Analytics: Provide regular campaign performance reports that include opens, clicks, conversions, revenue, revenue lift, unsubscribes, etc.
Segmentation: Taking a data driven approach to defining audience types. Creating individualised experiences for customers based on their interests and behaviours.
Deliverability: Monitoring the deliverability of campaigns, taking necessary action to protect it. Deep knowledge of email marketing data privacy, such as GDPR and CCPA. Stay up to date on changes in email sending laws, ISP behaviour and spam filtering.
Life Cycle Marketing: Turning browsers into customers into brand fans. Develop and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns to guide customers through their journey, from awareness to advocacy. Implement retention strategies to enhance customer lifetime value.
Digital Community Building: Being the driving force in uniting our online communities. Working closely with the Community & Events team to provide continuity and identify opportunities to capture data.
Testing Roadmap Definition: Run A/B tests, manage a testing calendar, report on results, and suggest improvements. Testing includes subject lines, message content, CTAs, customer cohorts and segments, send time, and new features intended to drive performance lift.
Technology: Being a platform expert. Advocating for channel best practices with an eye for deliverability and scalable automation. Keeping an eye on relevant changes in the eCommerce technology landscape that can be leveraged operationally and commercially.
The person we're looking for...
- Experienced - digital all rounder with around 3+ years experience in eCommerce email marketing and CRM.
- Familiar with Klaviyo especially as it's used with Shopify.
- Time spent in small, fast paced businesses is great.
- Taking specialist knowledge and applying it to a brand looking to do things differently.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
- Keen to take on a lot of responsibility and act with autonomy.
- A self-starter who will look to develop their specific area of expertise.
