A Global Leading Retailer requires a PMO with at least 4 years of experience (Senior) to join the team based in Amsterdam, on a contractor basis.
Scope:
We need someone with a strong personality, great confidence who is not afraid to speak up and can build trust and relationships very fast.
An understanding of agile, product mindset and Logistics/fulfilment would be a big advantage. You need to be used to dealing with confidential material. We are looking for someone hugely proactive and creative to think around a problem and find a way. You will need boundless energy, huge empathy, and the ability to build relationships instantly and confidently to speak up and control meetings as the team is not shy.
As the PMO for the team, there will be some administration tasks to hold together all the processes and numbers for headcounts, budgets, recruitment, onboarding etc. Furthermore, it would be great if they can automate some of these processes.
You will lead on building comms to celebrate what the team is doing and keeping stakeholders informed. Design and evolve our team meetings to meet our goals. The PMO will confidently be able to run small projects like pulling 20 of the leaders together to present to the board. The pace at which my client work is high, so you need to be able to react fast to new challenges and be OK with messaging as a form of communication rather than email.

Background:
A contractor to operationalise the running of the team - admin and project manager skills - role 'PMO'. This person will be a member of a senior leadership team in Software engineering digital - the teams focus is building software to enable the global fulfilment of customer orders and product delivery to the shelf edge.

The work is expected to be done remote until the Covid-19 restrictions are over, later the work is expected to be done from the location office.
