Senior PHP Developer

Bournemouth/Remote/Hybrid Flexibility

Senior PHP Developer needed to join a rapidly expanding E-Commerce business, who have had a significant level of investment and are taking their company global. You will be working closely within their development team to build out their back-end function as they expand. You are precise, solutions focused and work well as part of a team.

Some of what you will be doing:

• Using PHP and the inhouse customized framework to maintain, develop and optimize the backend
• Collaborating with stakeholders and the wider team to provide updates and manage expectations about project progress
• Mentoring other more junior team members
• Providing recommendations for solutions to development issues

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

• 5 years of commercial development experience using PHP
• Strong experience with MySQL
• Experience working with other developers and collaborating on peer code reviews
• Strong knowledge of Agile

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience of working for E-commerce businesses
