Network Infrastructure Support Engineer

Wool, Dorset Onsite

£52,500 DOE

SC Clearance required

 

Network Infrastructure Support Engineer needed for an award-winning MSP who offers their services to clients all across Europe. You will be providing top-class support to a client that are in the defence industry, so SC clearance is essential.

 

Some of what you will be doing:

  • Managing Customer SLA’s and escalating when not aligned with project timelines.
  • Troubleshooting, supporting & maintaining various systems.
  • Working as part of a team & on your own to ensure team/personal objectives are meet.
  • Taking ownership of ticket request and escalate if you cannot resolve it.
  • Working on multiple issues at once.
  • Reporting potential risks.
  • Undertake another request when needed.

 

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Experienced with a wide range of Cisco technologies (ASA, Firepower, Meraki, VPN Solutions)
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications
  • Knowledge of VMware/Hyper-V Administration
  • Experience with Linux & Citrix
  • Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds)
  • Experience with Network protocols (DHCP / MPLS/ VPLS, DNS)
  • Experience with reverse proxies / Secure application gateways
  • Experience with PowerShell & Scripting.
