Description

Our Client, a cloud-based SaaS platform offer people the opportunity to create and sell digital products and online courses quickly and easily. Responsibilities

Build incident and problem management team and manage the information security team

Establish processes for proper incident response with typical measurements, communication patterns and escalation procedures

Mature problem diagnostics and resolution, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent remediations of root causes

Foster a culture on SLI to measure software quality in production to facilitate continuous improvement guidance for product and engineering teams

Identify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectives

Escalate on violation of expected customer performance and sustainability of our service performance management

Working with Architecture to design reusable patterns, provide governance around adoption, and influence application development teams on roadmaps and design

Ensure release scheduling and support product & engineering teams to manage dependencies on deployments

Build up information security function and partner & outsourcing management

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

5+years or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline and/or site reliability engineering

Experience in building and managing teams in IT operations for incident, problem, release management and information security

Experience in IT operations management of online eCommerce services

Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies and tools especially in deployment, monitoring and operations, such as AWS, Elastic search, Grafana, Kibana, etc.

Experience in Developing monitoring tools and log analysis tools to manage operations, working with infrastructure service teams to ensure application service uptime, and Developing and managing operations leveraging key event streaming, messaging and DB services such as Cassandra, MQ/JMS/Kafka,Hadoop , etc.

Deep understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) philosophy, Chaos Engineering, technologies, platforms and tools, SLA management, incident resolution, and automation

Working knowledge of infrastructure components (e.g. cloud products, container systems, compute, storage, networks, cluster computing
