Cybersecurity Manager

Salary up to £90,000 + up to 20% Bonus

Cybersecurity Manager required to join a finance focused IT Services Company that operated globally.

You will oversee security operations including building processes, developing the technology stack and managing the current/ongoing resources. You will have in depth knowledge in a cyber security management role with a hands-on approach.
 

You will be the go-to person and manage the overall direction and roadmaps for the companies operational security plan while ensuring the implementation of security principles across the company
 

Some of what you will be doing:

• Protecting customer and internal information systems from unauthorised access /intrusion, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction
• Support new projects by conducting risk assessments
• Ensuring security protocols are implemented across all projects
• Responsible for developing and operational security plan
• Keep up to date to the latest threats and vulnerabilities
   

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

• Good experience in managing security operations in a complex environment
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, incident management and application security
• Extensive experience in managed TVS and SIEM solutions (maintenance, improvements, and auditing)
• Implementation of vulnerability management and software
• Experience with SIEM and software, including analysis of alerts and logs
• Experience across encryption technologies and ciphers (IPsec VPN’s, TLS/SSL, and storage encryption)
• Experience across security technologies and controls (Network, Application and Firewalls, IPS, Web Proxy, Vulnerability Scanners, Host Intrusion prevention, Active Directory, Secure FTP, Certifications, and IPsec VPN
• A deep understanding of how hackers work
• Experience in managing and resolving all alerts threats and breaches.
• Leadership skills
• Dealing with third party providers including “Security as a service” providers

It would be great if you also had:

• CISSP, CEH, OSCP
• Experience with Dell SecureWorks
• Qualys
• Experience with Tibco, LogLogic, Counter Threat Platform
